Aaron Rodgers(7,500)Rodgers came into week 7 as a bust and some people were questioning if the star QB was over the hill.Injuries turned his backfield into an episode of “MASH” and they had to platoon WR’s Ty Montgomery and Randall Cobb in the RB position.Well the baddest QB on the planet thrived in the short passing game and ended the game with over 300 yards passing and 3 TD.This week they travel to the ATL to face the Falcons and there high scoring offense. With no running game “A-ROD” will have to be slinging the ball to keep up with the 4 and 3 Falcons.Green Bay is a slight underdog and the over under is 53.That is the highest in the league this week so vegas is calling this one a shootout.
Russell Wilson(7,200)After the thriller on Sunday night that ended up a 6-6 tie Russell Wilson and the Seahawks look to bounce back this week verse the Saints. The game will be played under the dome in New Orleans.I know that Wilson has not been lighting up the fantasy world but the matchup is one worth dreaming about. The Saints have the 30th ranked pass defense and are giving up a pathetic 287 yards passing a game.Alex Smith torched them last week and with Brees on top of his game,Wilson will have to keep the pedal to the floor.Vegas has the “Hawks” a 3 point favorite and the over under is 47.5.That is high for Seattle but the lack of defense for New Orleans will assure owners that there will be lot’s of points scored.
Ryan Fitzpatrick(6,200)Back from the dead and playing the Browns who are already dead.
Derek Carr(5,900)The offense still revolves around the young gun slinger.
Spencer Ware(6,800)Ware has made me a believer and comes into week 8 on fire.He faces the Colts and there terrible rush defense that has given up three straight 100 yard rushers.Ware on the other hand has been as productive and consistent as anyone in fantasy. He is averaging an outstanding 130 yards per game from scrimmage and is dangerous out of the back field.Jamaal Charles has struggled to get healthy and after being thought of as just a handcuff,Ware has stolen the job.Should be a high scoring game and the over under is 50.That means the Chiefs will wanna be running that ball to keep the dangerous Andrew Luck on the sideline.
Devonta Freeman(6,500)The Falcons match up against the Packers at home on Sunday and I love everything about that game fantasy wise. The over under is 53 and both offenses are hitting their strides.Freeman has been sharing the load with Tevin Coleman and both backs have been putting up numbers. Now that Coleman is out for Sunday with a hamstring issue the job is Freeman’s and he will take on a huge workload.Last year as the sole feature back Freeman was the number one fantasy back in the league. He catches the ball out of the backfield great and had over 70 receptions in 2015.That means turn on the PPR machine and fill in the stat sheet for Draft Kings.Green Bay all together has a tough run defense but the versatility and work load of Freeman will make him a must play this week.
Latavius Murray(4,500)Is coming off a two TD game and is now healthy
Mike Gillislee(3,800)Will be a steal at this salary if McCoy sits out.
Brandon Marshall(7,800)I am starting to sound like a broken record and a Cleveland Browns hater.I am sorry Cleveland,Hue Jackson has the offense playing decent but your defense is horrific. They have already given up 18 passing TD’s and QB’s are averaging 285 yards per game.We all seen A.J. Green go off last week and Brandon Marshall we do so also.Marshall is the only weapon on the offense since the injury to Decker. The return of Fitzpatrick helps Marshall because he will force feed the ball to him.Joe Haden has been hurt and there is no other CB that can match up with the all pro WR,so look for Marshall and the Jets to get back on track.
Larry Fitzgerald(7,500)The ageless wonder and future Hall of Famer is having yet another fantastic season. He is averaging almost 7 catches a game and has 5 TD’s already.Cardinals face the just a plain awful Panthers pass defense and “Fitz” will look to feast.Carolina gives up 282 passing yards per game and the last three games have given up 187 yards per game to the opposite teams number one receiver! Bruce Arians is usually a coach that loves to spread the ball around but the team has recently lost three of it’s top WR’s.That means even more looks for Fitzgerald and he will be the only WR that Carson Palmer will trust. He does not carry this high of a salary normally but with the matchup and workload “Fitz” is a must play.
Ty Montgomery(5,300)Lines up everywhere and is a PPR monster.
Devante Adams(4,900)13 catches last week and GB does not have a running game.
Jimmy Graham(6,100)Jimmy has sort of reinvented himself in 2016 after missing the last part of 2015 with injury. Many doubted the former basketball star and had left him for dead.In August I am on record saying watch out for Jimmy and stop sleeping on him.At 6’7 he is a matchup nightmare and Russell Wilson is looking for him more and more. The last four games Graham has averaged 6 catches and 89 yards per game.In the Tight End world that is as consistent as it gets and I expect more TD’s.Seattle plays the Saints and I am sure the TE wants to inflict some revenge on his former team.New Orleans is by far the worst defense in the league but Brees and company still have an elite offense.Over under is 47.5 so there should be lots of offense and plenty of chances for the former pro bowler to make plays.
Jack Doyle(3,500)If you are not hip to the emerging TE then you better ask somebody, because his salary will not stay this low.Filling in for often injured Dwayne Allen last week, the emerging TE caught 9 receptions for 78 yards and a TD.Andrew Luck and the Colts have had trouble running the ball consistently this season. The Wide Receiver core has been stricken with the injury bug and lacks a proven WR opposite of Hilton.Enter the sure handed TE and the short passing game.It is a proven fact that Andrew Luck is going to chuck the ball around and teams have to respect the deep throw to T.Y. Hilton.Doyle will eat up catches over the middle and should continue to be a factor in the red zone.
Kyle Rudulph(3,500)Bradford loves targeting his TE and is a huge red zone factor.
Vernon Davis(2,900)If Jordan Reed is out,Davis will get some serious looks.
