The Wednesday NBA main slate at FanDuel has ten games to choose your players from. There are a few teams on the second game of back to backs and they are the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Teams with the highest implied totals tonight are;
The Atlanta Hawks have the highest implied point total on the main slate. They are expected to score 109.8 points tonight against the visiting Los Angeles Lakers. Hawks players you may want to use tonight would be point guard Dennis Schroder ($6500) shooting guard Kyle Korver ($3800) and power forward Paul Millsap ($8400). The Lakers have one of the lowest implied totals on the slate at 98.5 points so you might want to pass on the Lakers players tonight.
The Portland Trail Blazers have the second highest implied total on the slate and are expected to score 109.3 points tonight against the Phoenix Suns. The Suns have the sixth highest implied total of the night with 106 points. You will want to have plenty of exposure to this game. Both of these backcourts are explosive offensively and leak like a sieve defensively so Portland’s backcourt of PG Damian Lillard ($9900) and SG C.J McCollum ($7300) are in play tonight. The Suns PG Eric Bledsoe ($7500) is a nice play tonight; SG Devin Booker ($5300) missed Monday night’s game with a banged up toe and if he’s able to play you could use him. If Booker doesn’t go SG Brandon Knight ($5800) might also be a good player for you to use. With all the options tonight I wouldn’t look at anyone else from either of these teams.
The New York Knicks have the third highest implied total with 107 points. Their opponent tonight is the Houston Rockets with an implied total of 106 points. Obviously Rockets SG James Harden ($11,200) is in play tonight and if he plays after taking a shot to the face and getting five stitches before returning last night I like Rockets SF Trevor Ariza ($5500). For the Knicks PG Derrick Rose ($5700), SF Carmelo Anthony ($7500) and PF Kristaps Porzingis ($6800) could all post some pretty big numbers tonight against the Rockets.
Those are the top plays from the games with the highest totals for tonight. Here are my fabulous five for Wednesday November 2nd, 2016. Be sure and check the lineups to be sure your player is playing tonight.
Oklahoma City Thunder PG Russell Westbrook ($12000) is putting up video game numbers and to me it doesn’t matter who he plays against or even how much he costs, it’s hard to fade him. He is a triple double threat every time he steps on the court; Westbrook is averaging 18.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.7 steals in his career against the Los Angeles Clippers and I expect another big game tonight on the road for Westbrook.
Chicago Bulls SG Dwyane Wade ($6900) has a great matchup tonight against a Boston Celtics defense allowing shooting guards an NBA worst 48.5 points a game. Wade has enjoyed a nice career against the Celtics averaging 21.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.7 steals. Wade is also playing roughly 29 minutes a night and averaging 29.1 FanDuel points a game. I like Wade a LOT tonight.
Charlotte Hornets SF Nicolas Batum ($6400) has a terrific matchup with a Philadelphia 76er defense allowing small forwards to average 47.3 points a game. Batum will play about 32 minutes tonight and is averaging 28.2 FanDuel points a game for the Hornets. Batum has always played well against Philadelphia averaging 11.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5 assists and almost two triples a night. I think Batum will be widely overlooked tonight and could have a very big night at home against the 76ers.
Detroit Pistons PF Tobias Harris ($6200) has a terrific matchup on the road against a Brooklyn Nets defense allowing Power Forwards to average 48.2 points per game. Harris is averaging 31.2 FanDuel points a game on 20.2 points, six rebounds and two assists this season. I really like Harris at this price and I think you will too tonight against the Nets.
Toronto Raptors C Jonas Valanciunas ($6400) has a great matchup against a Washington Wizards team allowing Centers to average 22 points and 18 rebounds a game. So far this season Valanciunas is averaging a double double and has a very good history against the Wizards averaging 9.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and one block over 14 games. I like the price and I like the matchup tonight.
Good luck at FanDuel!
